Dr. Grisham provides comprehensive gynecologic care from adolescence through menopause. Some of the services provided include annual well woman exams, contraceptive counseling, vaccination against the human papilloma virus, management of painful or irregular menses, endometriosis, treatment of pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Dr. Grisham also provides extensive operative gynecologic services, offering both in-office and hospital-based procedures with a focus on non-invasive and minimally invasive therapies.
In-office procedures include endometrial biopsy, colposcopy, loop electrosurgical excision procedure, cryosurgery, endometrial ablation (Novasure, Thermachoice balloon ablation, Her Option Cryoablation), incision-free hysteroscopic tubal ligation (Essure), Interstim Therapy for urinary control, and dilation and curettage. Procedures such as advanced laparoscopy, hysterectomy, and vulvar and vaginal restorative and reconstructive procedures are performed at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano or its surgery center.
Dr. Grisham has extensive specialized training in advanced pelvic restorative surgery for disorders such as urinary and fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. His expertise is sought for training other physicians in these techniques and as a consultant to surgical device companies to assist in bringing about improved technologies. He is the founder of the Grisham Center for Female Pelvic Medicine and Restorative Surgery, a cutting edge facility dedicated to improving the quality of life of women who suffer from pelvic organ disorders.
